Food processing and Packaging facilities
BJD has extensive experience in maintaining and servicing industrial food processing facilities. We currently work with many facilities in our area performing routine service as well as new facility construction, industrial electrical maintenance, equipment upgrades and major capital projects. We understand these projects are extremely important to your company and we will work with your project management group to ensure that there is no deviation from your schedule baseline and that our execution on site and scheduling are in line with both your master schedule and your expectations. BJD will work with you to ensure the critical electrical assets in your facility are maintained and functional when you need them the most. In the event that there are issues BJD electrical provides 24 hour on call service to minimize downtime. We have a rotating schedule for our on call journeymen able to provide prompt service and will even travel for emergency service if required. Agricultural facility construction and maintenance
Since the beginning in 1980 BJD has completed design-build work on over 80 inland terminals for every major player in the Canadian grain industry as well as more than 150 bin additions and upwards of 40 commercial fertilizer blending and shipping facilities. Our experience speaks for itself, we frequently assist with system design, equipment installation and complete system replacements. We install and service the newest in technologies and we also have the experience to work with the remaining systems and materials that are still useful but older. We have the ability to perform complete wiring and lighting upgrades in any size grain terminal adhering to both NFPA and insurance standards and regulations to ensure that the final result is safe, functional, and durable enough to last. BJD works all over the prairie provinces of Manitoba, Saskatchewan and Alberta. We have out of town crews available to work on any site in any location.

BJD is a certified Hubbell premise wiring installer. This certification is from the Hubbell MISSION CRITICAL© program which gives you assurance of system success with a 25 year guarantee on components, performance, and installation, therefore guaranteeing the overall integrity of your structured cabling system.
Thermal imaging for preventative electrical system maintenance and condition monitoring.
BJD electrical has thermographic technicians certified through the ITC (Infrared Training Center). Our thermography services will assist your facility or business with electrical maintenance by identifying electrical issues before they become failures. Identifying items as small as loose connections in PLC’s could mean the difference between continued operations and downtime. Thermography can also be used to prevent much more serious hazards and to continuously monitor serious hazard areas such as main feeds, substations, MCC’s, and high voltage connections. BJD will set up a continuous monitoring program including reporting to verify and ensure safety for insurance and workplace safety purposes.
Electrical Maintenance Services
BJD Electrical works with a number of industrial and commercial facilities in the Lethbridge area to provide their electrical maintenance needs. This includes 24 hour on call service. We provide services ranging from complete electrical upgrades or replacements for all electrical equipment as well as day to day service for common electrical needs such as motor and small equipment replacements and wiring, MCC and PLC troubleshooting and repair, and operation equipment troubleshooting and repair.
